Pre-Design Services 

Pre-Design services define scope and set the course for a successful project.  Services include administration of stakeholder focus groups, education and coordination of team members, project feasibility, and strategic master-planning.  Focus groups connect both design and operational teams with the fundamental needs of the project.  Educating team members is critical to ensuring a project moves forward with core-values and design goals intact. Project feasibility is gauged through market analysis and proforma development.  Finally, the master-planning process seeks to anticipate and plan for the needs of a completed project.  JSR works with clients to craft Pre-Design services to the needs of each project.  

Programming

JSR provides functional programming services – including facilitation of gleaning information from stakeholders that answers the “who”, “what”, “where”, “when”, and “how” of a project; based upon a Client’s mission, core values, positive outcomes, and return on investment (ROI).   This upfront programming process responds to understanding the operational needs and resident desired outcomes that informs the physical space programming process, including impacts on the project’s furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). 

Design Services

JSR’s design services include full architecture and interior design services that meet the functional needs as well as aesthetics for senior living settings.  In addition to providing full design services, JSR often partners with other design teams to provide senior living expertise.  This works well for many projects; having both a firm with local code and regulatory knowledge working with JSR, as the senior living expert.
