Carol and Jake Davis planned on aging in place, but their existing kitchen and family room were not large enough for their growing family and future grandchildren.

JSR Associates, Inc. worked with the Davis family to design an addition that made use of an existing screened-in porch. Creative structural solutions provided open space for then new kitchen and an enlarged family room, which they created by removing a closet and expanding the usable space.

Acting as the general contractor for this project, the clients completed and finished the space themselves and are thrilled with the design solution.
